Spa discovery and booking for British Columbia
Cascade Wellness is a booking marketplace and spa directory for British Columbia: hosts list private wellness spaces, guests book by the hour, and a directory layer tracks hundreds of spas with data synced from Google.
It is also the proving ground. Most of XOS — the content pipeline, the feature pipeline, the scheduled operations — went into production on Cascade before it became something we offer clients.
What runs on XOS
Content pipeline
Agents draft blog posts from listing data, reviews, and local research. A named editor approves every post before it publishes — the writer agent has no publish authority.
Feature pipeline
One agent turns user signals and GitHub issues into candidate feature specs. A groomer dedupes and ranks them. An implementer builds the top of the queue, gated by the full test suite — 1,400+ automated checks — before anything lands.
Data operations
A nightly sync pulls fresh business data from Google Places; review scraping and import runs on its own schedule; an enrichment pipeline proposes listing updates that an admin reviews before applying.
Deploys
Staging deploys run automatically every morning at 07:30, with build verification and a health check that inspects the rendered page — not just the HTTP status.
